The Columbus Forensic Laboratory is now processing cases for outside agencies. Please contact the Columbus Police Department (662-244-3500) to reach lab personnel that can provide you with information on analytical services, pricing and logistics.
Internship and Job Shadowing Program
The Columbus Forensic Lab offers positions for internships and job shadowing.
One internship position is open per college semester. For your application to be considered it must be complete and submitted at least one month before the course required start date.

The AFIX database allows quick searches of latent prints, recovered from crime scenes, against fingerprint databases containing thousands of known fingerprints.
